Sara M. Clay began her practice in Marietta in
1990 when she received her law degree from the University of
Georgia.
She began work at
the law firm presently known as Moore, Ingram, Johnson and Steele,
with an emphasis on business and real estate litigation, as well
as family law. In 1995, she began work with the Cobb County Superior
Court as a Judicial Clerk to The Honorable James G. Bodiford, where
she worked on a number of civil litigation matters, including First
Amendment cases, class action matters, personal injury, domestic
cases, and adoption work. Additionally, she actively worked on
criminal matters including death penalty cases.
Following
the birth of her second child in 1999, she shifted her focus
to her own family. In 2003, she returned to the practice
of law, assuming the ongoing surrogacy practice of Mark A. Johnson,
P.C. This practice is exclusively in the areas of surrogacy and
related infertility issues, including donor cases, legitimation
and adoption.
